First choose the tree, shrub or plant that you wish to take a layer from. Species that can be Rooterpotted include, Populus, Rosa Canina, Olea Europea, Ceratinia Siliqua, Nerun Oleander, Laurus Nobilis, Azalea Indica, Prunus Dulcis, Ficus, Hibiscus, Magnolia, Platanus, Rhododendron, Ginkgo. Ilex, Castanea Sativa, Camelia, Gardenia Jasmin, Pistacea Lentiscus, Myrtus Communis, Ulmus, Zelkova, Acer, Betula, Cryptomeria, Escalonia, Pyracantha, Juniperus, etc etc. All of these and many more have been successfully propagated. These are all perfect clones of the mother plant and have rooted within two to three months from the parent stock.
