Putting in the soil Rooterpot Product 5

Prepare your soil first. Use a normal cutting compost. It can be mixed with clay granules for water retention of you wish. Place soil into the reservoir funnels. We also suggest that adding water retaining gel beads mixed in to the soil is a good idea and reduces dehydration in very hot weather and also retains the humidity levels that developing roots love.

Using a scoop, carefully fill the pot with soil. Tamp down with your fingers

Water gently to soak soil and fill up reservoirs at bottom of Pot.
Tamp down again after watering. Place lid on to RooterPot.

Your rooterpot is now in place. Remember to check the reservoir levels and fill up by watering on the pot to do this.
ROOT FORMATION
Roots that appear will first be white. These are tender feeder roots and not ready to support cutting. Wait until the brown coloured roots arrive and then you can remove the pot.
